This KdLinks "USB 3.0 7 port Hub" works wonderfully well and has allowed for the simplification of the connectivity mess going into my main work computer. We have moved into a new building for my wife's business and we took this as an opportunity to reconfigure our video editing system, so I was thrilled to be offered an evaluation unit of this hub for my setup. Here are my observations:

Features -
+ Easy Setup; truly "plug and play", no drivers or software needed so we just plugged in the power adapter and connected the hub via the included USB cable to the computer

+ 7 Ports; we have a lot of USB devices, including external hard drives, video capture boxes, drawing tablets, cameras, color calibration devices, and various smart phones, eReaders, etc, all of which work perfectly connected to the hub

+ Fast; our video capture equipment and hard drives work flawlessly and, most importantly, worked fast enough where there were no "drops" (often a problem with slower USB 2.0)

+ Stand Alone Charging; we use this to charge our smart phones and other USB devices, even when the computer is turned off

+ quality; this is a well designed and well made component

The hub does require the use of an included "wall wart" style power supply.

This hub works exactly as expected on the accessories and devices tested!
